It’s been said that the person you are today is simply a sum of all the events you’ve experienced in your life up until that moment. Here are some of those things…
I was born in Livingston, New Jersey on October 23, 1983. My parents emigrated from the Philippines and raised me as a Roman Catholic. I attended both private and public schools. I played both Nintendo and Sega. I was trained in ballet, tap, voice, and viola. I performed as a child and teen actor on several professional stages.
In middle school, I found a strong interest in computers. I learned to use a computer as a tool to write stories, create graphic design, and use the Internet. From then on, my life was always filled with electronic gadgets. There was hardly a day where I wasn’t watching television, listening to the radio, or surfing the web.
In high school, I found a strong interest in pop culture and socializing. I loved MTV and Starbucks. I drove a Jeep. I bleached my hair. I wore Abercrombie & Fitch. I worked at the mall.
In college, I majored in Art with a focus in Printmaking. I was a brother at Theta Xi. My favorite class was a Social Psychology class. I experimented and ultimately fell in love with digital photography. In 2005, I received my BFA from Carnegie Mellon University.
After college, I geographically moved around and found myself in Brooklyn, NY.
